I ‘M Making a Difference
Microsoft announced a new initiative, designed to help some of the world’s most effective non-profit organizations. The campaign from Microsoft’s Windows Live(TM) Messenger sees the company donate a portion of the program’s advertising revenue to the NGOs that are supported. UNHCR is pleased to announce that ninemillion.org is one of the campaigns to benefit.
This is a great way to help us raise awareness and funds for refugee children worldwide. There is no fee for joining or using the program. You simply select ninemillion.org as your organization when you join. Windows Live Messenger will then make a donation on your behalf every time you use it.
It takes just a few minutes to join, so you’ll start making a difference with your next instant messaging conversation. That means that every single time you chat on instant messenger, you’re helping the UNHCR and the ninemillion refugee children everywhere.
We know you’re eager to find ways to help us and this is really easy to do! So, any time you have an IM conversation using Windows Live Messenger, you help address the issues you feel most passionate about. This initiative is not currently available outside the US.
